Welcome to This Week in Space Telescopes Podcast! In our first episode we are celebrating 20 years of the Solar Heliospheric Observatory; a space telescope that has been staring at the Sun from its perch at the L1 Lagrangian point for 20 years now

The success and durability of this mission cannot be overstated, primarily because it proves that we can operate a space telescope far from Earth with no repair mission for extended lengths in harsh environments.
